Sam Franz / No Author is an American music producer, songwriter, and music programmer from Traverse City, a small town in northern Michigan. He has released a full-length LP as Sam Franz with the legendary jazz pianist and composer Bob James, and numerous electronic projects under No Author, including most recently “Exposed Functional Elements” on Slikback’s experimental imprint Xternal Domain.
